What we believe

We believe the Bible is the infallible Word of God. That it is a holy book, written by men, yet authored by God. It is the foundation of what we believe and the guide for learning more about God.

We believe that salvation is by the Grace of God (Eph 2:8), and that there is a path to accept His Grace.
When the Apostle Peter was asked by  sinful people what to do, he said "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost" (Acts 2:38).

We believe in One God (Deut 6:4, Eph 4:5-6), and that He created the universe and all we can see. We also believe that He humbled Himself and consented to take on human form, becoming Jesus Christ, and that He enters our spirits as the Holy Ghost.

Since there is "none other name under heaven by which we must be saved", we baptize in the name of Jesus (Acts 4:12). Others perform baptisms in the name of "titles," but we know the Name of the One who bears those titles and we adhere to the one and only baptismal protocol we witnessed the Apostles do.

Holiness refers to separation or purity. God instructed the children of Israel to be holy in Lev 11:45, while the author of Hebrews states in chapter 12:14 that we cannot see the Lord without holiness. By receiving the Holy Ghost and severing our ties to the world, we can seek to be Holy.

God intended for humanity to have a relationship with Him. Christ died for us when we were hopelessly entangled in our sins (Rom 5:8). It is His example of love that inspires us to love and serve God in all areas of our existence.
